Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Find something to watch, click "watch" and then "on iPad".

It's not that difficult

(Unless you mean Sky Anywhere in which case you can't as you can't watch OD content on an iDevice.)

Not quite, had to register my device first, then try and identify which channels I could stream

In the guide there is a button that says "All" if you click that it gives you the option to just list streamable or fav channels, handy!

Also streamable channels have an icon next to the name.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Just having a play around with the iPhone app, mightily impressed. Commands are transmitted to the TiVo instantly, can see myself having a lot of fun with this. Just wish my 40th birthday was tomorrow, the other half has ordered me an iPad, have to wait until xmas eve now. Hats off to Virgin so far.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

I am impressed with the iPhone app. The website is pretty good as well. I haven't yet registered any devices for viewing, so I haven't tried the streaming yet.

The two device limit will be a pain though. We have three adults in the house, all of whom have iPhones, and I suspect all of whom will be wanting to use this.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Is there anyway to watch on demand stuff on my iPad instead of on the tele?

I just tried to watch a South Park episode from on demand and when I pressed "Watch Now" it automatically brought it up on the TV.

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Its a shame the iPhone app hasn't been updated to support the 4" screen of the iPhone 5. Hopefully that gets updated before the iPhone 6 is announced.

Yep this is incredibly disappointing... Yet another update we'll end up waiting ages for

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

Well what a huge f**king surprise, it's identical to the TiVo app I had eight months ago except they painted it red and made it repeatedly reset my tivo!

Virgin media, you are a bunch of retards! I've had enough now, hello sky what offers do you have for me?

I'm guessing you missed all the On Demand and Live Streaming options that the TiVo app you had eight months ago didn't do?

Re: Virgin Media TiVo iPad app

On demand worked on the TiVo app after the first app update! TV anywhere is pointless frankly! I have no interest in it and will not use it! I had a lovely blue app all those months back that worked, now I have an angry little red app that has reset my tivo three times in two hours! VM couldn't organise a **** in a brothel!
