Aldi Australian Cabernet Sauvignon/ Shiraz, very fruity but only £13.99 for 3 litres
- last night was a reasonable Merlot in the pub next to my hotel in Haydock - but at £3.35 a 250ml glass it didn't really compare with the value for money of the Aldi box - which would be around £40 for the equivalent amount in the pub ....
