Well Done VM you did it again ... launch a product .. sell the product .. but cant supply the product in some areas for the foreseeable future
and before anyone has a go at me for being anti VM .. im actually pro VM but the TiVo launch has been abysmal as far as i am concern and im not even gonna get TiVo

Sounds like it just needs more appointments loading on to the system. Sales should speak to Installs to add more quota.

I am a XL customer and still waiting for my 'TiVo' email; will it come soon or should I ring VM?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Quick question, I have two normal V Boxes and a V+ Box. If I decide to go with Tivo do I give up my V+ Box to replace Tivo or can I replace one of my normal V Boxes???

You will be able to swap one of the normal boxes and keep the V+

You can replace whichever box you wish (personally I'd go with the oldest SD box you have and get the tech to shuffle the boxes around)

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Would I be alright ringing the 150 number? In my email it doesn't list any phone numbers just the online link but I'll want to sort mine out over the phone as it probably won't just be a simple upgrade.
I was on VIP 20 until the Sky HD channels came out last year. At the time I got a retentions deal allowing me to get the Sky HD channels on both boxes for a little less than I was paying for VIP20.
I've basically got VIP20 without Talk Mobile and without Talk International. But with V+ as my second box and Sky HD Prem on both boxes. I currently pay £103.99 for that. So with Tivo it'd make it £106.99.
Am I right in thinking that VIP50 with my second box also having the Sky HD Prem channels would come to £107.55? Basically meaning that I would get the benefits of the VIP50 package by paying 56p more than I would do anyway?
Also when do you have to inform them about which boxes to replace/move around? (On phone or when the engineer comes?) I've got both types of V+ but I'd like them switching around and then the older one replaced with Tivo. The old V+ box is playing up on the HD channels so want to get that replaced and make sure that we keep the Samsung one.

I have one V box and one V+ box - I am changing the V box for the TiVo (as agreed with the TiVo team), at no extra charge (besides the £3 per month).

I'm on VIP50 although my second box is an old SD one. When I ordered the Tivo I was told there would be no additional monthly cost to swap the V+ for the SD box

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
I read the question as if they were talking about them keeping both existing boxes and adding TiVo. If you swap one of the boxes for TiVo on VIP 50 the price shouldn't change
