Apologies if this has already been mentioned elsewhere but:

Last year, there were numerous sexual assaults at a music festival in Stockholm - many by migrant youths - but police did not make the information public.

They have now admitted that keeping silent was "a big mistake".

The revelations follow recent events in Germany, where Cologne's police chief resigned following sexual attacks in the city on New Year's Eve.

It seems the authorities aren't very keen on the truth being told when it comes to the downsides of uncontrolled migration. I might be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me if exactly the same thing happened here even after all the institutionalised denial surrounding the child abuse issues in places like Rotherham.

Sweden is in a state of crisis in that they have all been taught "not to mention the immigrants" in almost every situation, as to do so was "racist", "xenophobic" or "anti-muslim".

Not only for them. Plenty of people refused to accept/admit any such thing could happen. They're looking a tad naïve and/or stupid right now.

We should be training our own people up rather than stripping third world countries of their doctors and nurses.

Whats stopping Doctors moving abroad without paying - NOTHING. The government don't even chase up debts incurred by oversea's visitors, who get a treatment, then flee abroad.

So the chances of getting the money back is zero.

There must be thousands of Drs and Nurses that get the full training here, then go abroad where the money is 100 times better.

Migration is a major issue in the country for the NHS. MPs are always saying that without, the migration the NHS would collapse - total nonsense. There are some brilliant NHS staff are British Nationals.

A neighbour of mine recently retired from the NHS, she said its a brilliant job but the pay is lousy. But you have a dedicated staff

A POLITICIAN is going through with a threat he made to Germany’s leader last year – by sending a bus full of refugees on a 340 mile journey to her office.

Their trip comes three months after Peter Dreier made an angry phone call to Angela Merkel about the number of refugees Germany was going to take.

He told her he had done the maths and worked out if the country was to accept a million then 1,800 would be sent to his area.

The head of the Landshut district council in Bavaria said if he was sent any more than that she would have to deal with the consequences.

The Swiss government has defended its law requiring asylum seekers to hand over assets in excess of $1,000 (£700; €900) following international criticism of similar proposals in Denmark.

Assets were reportedly seized in just over 100 cases in Switzerland last year out of almost 30,000 asylum applications.

The Swiss Refugee Council has criticised the practice as unworthy.

But the government says the policy reflects the will of Swiss voters.

A German town has banned male asylum seekers from a public swimming pool after women complained of harassment.

A government official in Bornheim said men from a nearby asylum shelter would be barred until they "got the message" that such behaviour was not acceptable.

It follows outrage over hundreds of sexual assaults in nearby Cologne and other German cities on New Year's Eve.

Correspondents say the pool ban is the latest sign of increased tensions following the Cologne attacks.

On Thursday, the authorities in another town in west Germany, Rheinberg, cancelled a carnival parade planned for February over security concerns.

Rheinberg's public security chief, Jonny Strey, told German media that events in Cologne had influenced the decision and that officials were worried about from men from migrant backgrounds misbehaving.

Rheinberg Mayor Frank Tatzel later denied this, according to Reuters.

Cologne authorities expressed concern about the city's own carnival in February following the NYE attacks, promising to step up security and public awareness.

An opinion poll on Friday showed public anxiety increasing over the number of refugees and migrants arriving in Germany.

Resentment will be building up on both sides. Now that's not a recipe for further trouble is it...

Two months after the Paris attacks, Belgium is in the midst of an anguished debate about Islamist radicalisation. There's anger in Molenbeek - the Brussels district that was home to three of the attackers - at government plans for house-to-house searches. And a former senior police official has warned that Belgium's failure to integrate its Muslim minority has created a de facto "system of apartheid".
