Why wouldn't they it's probably the cheapest way to subscribe.

Just out of curiousity, why?
It is still cheaper than actually subscribing to a sky pacj and then movies on top.

Its a service that's available for those that want Sky movies without a TV pack. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
If it streams the entire Sky movies catalogue in HD then its a good deal. I always thought Virgin were mental for thinking anyone would want to pay £5 just to use the EPG on TiVo but it seems 100's of thousands want to.

If it was £8 or £9 pounds then that would be a more reasonable price in my humble opinion.

Why on earth would it be that price , that would soon alienate and lose them satellite and cable Sky Movies subscribers.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Considering what Netflix and Lovefilm are charging for their joke of a service, £8-9 for a Sky Movies Pass is way too low

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Now TV will be available on Youview from launch. Personally I think Youview and Now TV is a fantastic combo for people who want great TV without the expensive subscription.

I think it's a decent price.
"Instant access to hundreds of the latest titles on Sky Movies, with new and exclusive premieres available each Friday, at least a year before any other online subscription service."
Netflix and Lovefilm might be cheaper but SKY's content puts them to shame. This is the service people wanted and hoped Netflix and Lovefilm would be.
