yes I asked because your 8 down channels got me curious.
its not about being anti superhub. theres a simple cure for it if VM pull their finger out. why make a multi million pound investment in something then accept a simple fixable flaw?
your being a little arrogant and pathetic

And what qualifies you to specify that there is a simple cure? Are you a software engineer or a circuit designer?? Or is that your arrogance speaking??

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
But how do you know it's a simple fix? (is this a bit like your cloners simple fix??) Qasi, you're probably one of the most qualified (my digital electronics experience doesn't quite go to that level)

ok fair enough I don't know its a simple fix, I haven't a clue how to code but surely its achievable.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but until I actually see any proof of the problem or understand what it is, I can't conclusively say anything other than one connection has higher latency than the other...
I think the next OFCOM broadband report will probably be the best set of and biggest set of figures we get for this - we'll have two mostly superhub-only tariffs (30mb and 100mb) with the tariff with highest proportion of VMNG300 users sandwiched between them, and all running on the same (DOCSIS 3) network.

What I will expect from your 2 graphs is the 10meg to be generally more responsive so websites will be snappier, things like VOIP will be better, gaming better. The only thing the 50meg probably beats your 10meg on is thoughput.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
Interesting how downloading at full speed on one modem can effect the ping response on the other. I had the newsgroups going this morning on the 50Mb at about 8am and you can see a rise in the ping on the 2nd graph on the 10Mb
50Mb
10Mb

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
I would expect that if on the same channels as the shared channels arent that large, however your graphs are so different I assumed one is docsis1 and the other is docsis3 so not the same channels.
