I have it ready and waiting
I have always been a huge fan of both Greg Benford and Larry Niven but I have to say I'm finding BOH a little disappointing so far. My expectations may heve been too great.

Agreed - I enjoyed the books, but not as much as I expected to....

Re: What are you reading?
Prior to starting BOH, I finished:
Michael McCollum - Gibraltar Earth Series.
A three volume set which although not mind blowing, proved to be a pleasent read or in my case a pleasant listen as these days I have developed a preference for Audio Books.

God, that was a funny book.
The Hunters by Chris Kuzneski .
I absolutely love fiction books with an archaeological theme, especially ancient Egypt, can anyone recommend anything like this?

Haven't read either of them, I've got Stalingrad and Berlin the downfall, I'll keep an eye out for the other two.

Re: What are you reading?
Just finished Summers child it was a good read. I thought I had guessed the ending but was surprised at the ending, a really good twist in the story as I never would have guessed it in a million years. I was not disappointed at all in Summers child, now reading Reflection also by Diane Chamberlain.

Re: What are you reading?
Hard Duty by Mark E Cooper.
Book 1 of The Merkiaari Wars Series.
Seems a decent bit of hard SF.
