Superbowl 50 champions! So pleased today, might have been a low scoring game and put performed stats wise, but it was a Broncos win that's all I care about!

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
The transplant team phoned this morning to make it all official - they revised my estimated waiting time for eight months! - I am still not sure how I feel about that

You will have to stop these unexpected trips to hospital dilli. I bet your I-Spy- Medical Conditions Book is pretty much all ticked out by now.
Seriously though, I am so happy for you that this latest visit has ended better than you thought may be the case. <<hugs>>

Just joined a disabled dating site. I'm thinking positive about it, but at the same time im skeptical as to whether it's going to work

I can imagine, it's a big deal and I hated the waiting leading up to my operation. You could get the call earlier of course so we'll be keeping our CF fingers crossed for you!

Now that I'm one of those more rare people waiting for a double transplant, I've also been asked to take part in three seperate research projects at Addenbrookes. - it's nice to give something back. One of them is a new method of preserving organs outside the body (pre transplant) so could be interesting.
