Re: Football : Season 08/09
What a lovely draw for us, couldn't have gone any better. Repeat of last years final i reckon, with the same outcome would be nice
Actually having the away legs first would have been a bit better, but still, can't complain with that.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
That looks like a tasty draw, but I can't believe Liverpool have drawn Chelsea *AGAIN*, how does that happen?! Is there a magnet between the 2 balls in the bag or something?

2 men down with Berba up front, it never was going to be a good result...still, no-one win the title in March do they? Well, apart from United

Re: Football : Season 08/09
well scoles was deserved... didnt know he was a keeper rooney well he couldnt resist spitting his dummy out (as usual) and this time didnt get away with it.
am pleased for Fulham as it gets them out of the dangerzone a bit. Now lets see if Arsenal can get the Toon in there

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Three off in two games! Well, we had to cock up four times, and that is two of them, best make sure we make no more.
And this is why a Quad is impossible, it requires too much tinkering to keep players fit, Fulham where already on top before Scholes went, we weren't in the game, no balance and second to everything.
If you go for four, you are as likely to end up with none as win any.

To be fair SAF has played down talk of a quint, probably for this reason. I doubt United have won anything he really wants yet.

Also United have shown time and time again they can cope with the pressure. I suspect Benitez will crack up again if Liverpool are within reach...

Yeah he has. What can you do, you can't throw games, you don't get beat you have game after game after game, victim of our own success to an extent. What you don't need is three Reds in two games, that just sucks.

Liverpool don't have a game in hand, they are level on games played at the moment. When Liverpool play, United will have a game in hand.
I do hope Liverpool can pip United right at the end.

Thats because i've been busy, not just sitting infront of my pc like some, i didn't realise i have to post instantly after every game
Looks like we were totally outplayed again, i thought it was stange to not start Rooney and Tevez after they played so well against Fulham a couple of weeks ago, Chelsea losing eased the pain a bit lol. I think the international break is coming at a good time us.
