Ahh Big Brother. Missed it so far, plan on continuing to miss it and have already made sure that most of the people I know will not attempt to engage me in conversation about it.

Pikey TV, absolutely no value to it, go down the local pub near closing time on a Friday or Saturday night for a far more exciting view into the human psyche than a bunch of chavs thrown together by people betting that a few won't get on and others won't be able to help themselves but have a **** on TV.

I imagine the biggest concern for some of the contestants will be how they are going to explain to the Job Centre why they couldn't sign on.

Absolutely don't at all understand the interest in it. It's a group of people thrown together in a house and put through weird situations. Big deal.

I loathe most of these alledged 'reality TV' shows. They're about as real as Jordan's boobs and even less entertaining.

Yes Druchii it is spying, if they didn't want to be spied on they wouldn't apply. No doubt at some point one of them will complain about the lack of privacy though. Then you have Davina who after her abysmal failure to host a chat show is sticking with a show that matches her talents well.

No doubt this year follows the formula well, bound to be at least one complete idiot, some latent homosexual, some chavs wanting to go at it like rabbits, someone with some intelligence purely there for the cash looking down at the people in with him and wondering how he's going to stop himself from murdering them, etc.

Fingers crossed viewing figures will drop and this horrid insult to entertainment will be cancelled. The show reminds me why I don't watch much TV.

LOL Yeah you are right, quite a few of them will have the Job Centrte on their case.
Watching people have sex, fight, argue, and generally talk complete rubbish is just not something that interests me in the slightest.
It is cheap TV that doesnt deserve the publicity and media hype it get's.

I was browsing the newspapers today and on one of the front pages the Big Brother feature was bigger than the article about a young boy being stabbed in a school. How can Big Brother news be more important than this.

About the only news I would consider important about Big Brother is that it's disappearing off the air for good and not inflicting any more pikey **** on us to replenish the ranks of Z list celebs.

I find it saddening that the young boy who was stabbed was basically pushed aside by the papers... It's ridiculous.

She's ambitious, plain and simple. And if someone was verbally attacking a friend of yours without knowing them, wouldn't you take issue?

I know some people take it as a right to slag off people they don't know but when they do it publically, it goes to show how shallow they can be.

Theres not one person in the house that deserves ANY respect from "normal" people.

Day 20 in the big brother house and everyone is asleep......riveting.

Can we please try and keep this to hatred of Big Brother, its' presenter, its' format, and all those foul wastes of oxygen that have graced its' halls

I'd hope that the people posting in this thread would keep their negative opinions of BB away from the discussion thread on the programme, and that we do deserve the same treatment back from those who for whatever reason are pro the programme, whether it's just plain obsession or because they know someone on the show

I find it amusing all the comments regarding house mates. If you hate BB so much how do you know who's in there, what's been said etc etc. I have so far not watched any BB and have no intention of doing so. As such I have ZERO idea whose in there
