Sorry, but that's just not true.
If you check the results of the poll, & the posts in this thread you will see that plent of Bromley peeps were upgraded yesterday.

I presume you are referring to Bromley in Kent, rather than the areas in the UK that are served from the Bromley headend?

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
If you read the rest of the thread, you will see that a simple call to Customer Services, choosing option 5 usually does the trick. If you have a Standalone Cable Modem then you can even do it online.

P'raps someone could take some of the important information from this thread and create another news item on how to obtain your speed upgrade.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Upgraded here in Watford (750k to 2M). Two interesting points:
1. When I was on 750k, the CM diagnostics showed a downstream speed of 750000 bps. After upgrading I was expecting to see 2000000, but was pleasantly surprised to see that it's 2048000.
2. This round of speed upgrades seems have been organised much more smoothly than the previous round last year (when my 600k went up to 750k). The web-based upgrade did exactly what it said on the tin - something we're not used to getting from NTL. Well done!

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
I upgraded my line yesterday via the weblink. I've found out this morning that the connections now down. I've got the missus to reboot the modem a couple of times in the past couple of hours, but nothing!!! Is anyone else in the Loughboruogh area and working OK? Or can anyone from CS tell me if there is a problem as there is nothing on the NTLWorld site to say that there is...
