He's not been consistent and every United player to publicly criticise SAF has ended up booted out.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
to be honest Nani has been consistent. He's never looked good enough for us in any game he has played.
He's one of those players who has a lot of skill on the ball and with no players on the pitch could dazzle you with skills and keepie uppies all day long. Put another team there and ask him to move, create space, give good passes and know how to use the ball and he has no clue what to do

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Its not too bad, but for a footballer, its not good.
Has a suspected broken pelvis. Given his age, its likely he might never play for us or any other big clubs again, even if his injuries are minor.
Apparently he crashed his motorbike. I thought they were banned for footballers.

It says this on the BBC
Quote:
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A 36-year-old male suffered injuries described as possibly life-changing."
|
Does not sound good.

Not a good week for goalies.
In other news Rangers and Celtic have been told they are staying in Scotland for the foreseeable future.

Don't you just hate this guy? What an ********! As well as this abominable act, he's even taken his diving to such a level, he's pulled out of Ivory Coast's WC qualifier with a chest "injury".

I was being sarcastic. Of all players to pull out of representing their country for no good reason, Drogba wouldn't be one of them. He's a national hero and he knows it.

Well done Drogba. Looks like he needs to use that hospital whenever he 'goes down'

Good, with a bit of luck scrapping promotion/relegation will have been kicked firmly into touch to, Rangers and Celtic has no business in the English top flight, they want in pay your dues and come up through the leagues like everyone else.
Speaking of Scots, he got of light imo
The Football Association handed the 67-year-old a four-game ban, with two of those suspended until the end of the 2010/11 season.
Ferguson has also been fined £20,000 and warned about his future conduct.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Noone expected any real punishment, did they?
A touchline ban is meaningless. What with communication tools, being able to give half-time team talks, he can do his job as effectively as he could before. Quite often managers prefer to watch the game from the stands.
He should have got a UEFA-style ban which covers the whole stadium.
