Actually, that's enough by itself, but it's so much more than that. For example, how it manages to find alternatives to your recording options when clashes occur. Sky plus is way behind the TIVO.

Sky Atlantic in XL I can defo see however all the rest included in XL I think is a distant dream.

Oh dear me as it seem all is crumbling in the impregnable dark tower of thy master as all those around him look like deserting him very soon.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
Started a chat to a VM agent regarding BT sport this is what I got
Quote:
Jonathan: Hi, welcome to Virgin Media. How can I help?
Jonathan: Just type your question below…
You: Is BT Sport coming to virgin media?
Jonathan: I would be happy to assist you with the information about BT Sports with Virgin Media services.
Jonathan: May I ask if you're already a Virgin Media customer?
You: no
Jonathan: Thank you for considering Virgin Media.
Jonathan: We are currently in negotiations with BT Sports to carry there channel. We’re making every effort to ensure that our customers get a great service with the channels they want.
Jonathan: The website will be updated once we get this done.
Jonathan: May I please ask you few questions to suggest the best Broadband, TV and Phone package to you?
You: premier collection is the one I'm considering but I holding off for now to see if BT Sport went in it like ESPN is
Jonathan: Your selection is brilliant!
Jonathan: You can get ESPN America with Premiere Collection.
Jonathan: Once we will have BT Sports with us at that time you can take it as a add on with your Premiere Collection.
Jonathan: With our Premiere Collection you will get Broadband 60Mb, TV XL and Phone M along with TiVo 500GB Box, plus an extra V HD Box - HD activated and a Virgin phone line. You will get the Spotify Premium also free for first three months.
Jonathan: Premiere Collection costs £38.99 a month for the first 6 months and £62.99 a month thereafter. You will get free installation worth £49.95.
You: so it won't be free like ESPN is?
Jonathan: As per the current offer you are getting free installation along with first 6 month half pricing.
Jonathan: We cannot commit on the price of BT Sports whether it would be free or chargeable.
You: ok no problem

Make what you will of that

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 3.
When I was a Virgin customer, there where times when they really pulled things out of the bag. Sometimes totally out of the blue and other times totally against the views and opinions of people here and other forums. Whilst I'm still to be fully convinced BT Sports will be in the XL package, here are some of the big surprises I remember that makes me think they might be able to pull it off.
1. Setanta Sports going into the XL package
2. ESPN going into the XL package
3. The return of the SKY basic channels
4. SKY HD channels being available on the Virgin platform
5. SKY Movies and SKY Sports available on demand
6. 24 HD and SD Olympic channels
7. Film 4HD as an exclusive
8. Jointly launching Setanta Sports News to compete with SKY Sports News

You clearly don't remember me posting on here as a VM subscriber , my parents take all VM services I have zero loyalty to Sky and will basically take a deal with any service provider if the services are right , that's the beauty of being on a rolling contract I can look at competitors like VM and BT. I'm currently placed in a perfect position to see what happens to the XL package don't forget we only have rumours as such yet , if BT Sport and Sky Atlantic HD is included in XL I can switch at the drop of a hat by handing in my 30 days notice.

we will welcome you back bud, everything as you say is rumours some have come true some haven't but to say this time there seems to be a lot more rumours about.Lets not forget we have new owners and they will want to show there plan of action if these rumours are true they certainly will have and even it's its only sky Atlantic included that is a major coup especially in hd we have been waiting two years and they haven't owned the company 5 min and strike a deal.
As for love film and Netflix from what I heard the new company wants them both on TiVo and regards to being included in xl that could be not possible but from what I was hearing they want to push xl and especially VIP package and pay one price for everything rather than Addon charges.
Things could certainly be looking up for vm customers, just need universal hd now(must remember to send my monthly email to universal owners ) and what better stamp of approval than getting chad and the great muppetman11 back on side

Same here my 12 months fixed contract with sky is up on the Friday of the August BH weekend so I'm in a perfect position now just sitting here and awaiting the news if BT sport is added to the XL pack I'll be back in no time
