Is the TV you bought after sending the smashed eBay TV back ok?
Edit - you answered in other thread.

Re: What have you fixed lately?
The smashed tele was from vinted who are still investigating The seller says he won't request it back so I'm going to either try put a new screen on it or give it to my dad to repair
The new tele from eBay arrived safely via fragile courier.
My existing tele broke one of the wall mount screw holes. Plastic everywhere, I need a new back panel that covers the main board. Seems an easy fix granted I get the part.

Re: What have you fixed lately?
I called Hisense for repairs and parts. Parts are non existent. Repair was quoted at £169 + any high value part including screens. I got a full refund from Vinted for the purchase and am now left with the tele. Is it worth repairing or will the screen cost a lot on top of the £169 fee?

Re: What have you fixed lately?
A vac hose was bunged shut after the lad used it to clean up a gooey spill. After drying, I was able to use a sink-drain rod to clear the blockage. He's got to pay for a new pre-motor filter though, but they are only £6 (after going down a rabbit hole to find the correct item for the model).

My rickety shed roof felt started flapping about in the wind on Thursday so put some bricks on it before it went Wizard of Oz on me! until I got the tacks and ive just bodge fixed it, so hopefully it'll last a while longer until I decide what I want to do.

I put a GOOD pad in my 8track I just got the other day (W..no pad it sounded horrible and didnt switch tracks as it didnt detect the foil)
Not that it mattered because the recording of that album to me doesnt sound good.. It sounds thinner like it was digitally recorded and seeing it was 1977 that album,it may have been... (Blue lights in the basement (Roberta Flack))
I was expecting it to sound beautiful as the majority of my 8 tracks do...

Re: What have you fixed lately?
I recently left a temp job, and as such tried to remove them from Microsoft Authenticator, but there was no delete option, so I asked my nephew and he managed to remove it

My nephew has applied for a job at Raspberry Pi in Cambridge as a Software Engineer.
He's a smart bugger and they would be fools not to employ him, best of all its largely remote
