I did 'put up'. That's what I am saying. You lose games you play well in but it's even harder to say United deserved to win but got mugged by the ref when you didn't score. Arsenal were not mugged by the ref, we let in two stupid goals. So although we played better we lost. It's football.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
If you played well enough to take it.. but didnt.. How can you simply sit and say it? You Couldnt have played Well enough?!
You Lost To Your Rivals 1-0
Your Team Pulled a Shocker In Last Years Champions League Final
A team that Challenges For the Title Does not Scrape Through Matches With Results Like Manchester have been Pulling in this season.. 2 main Rivals have already turned you over Never to Mention the Burnley Score! Then Drawing at OT against Sunderland.. You can say you have a bad game.. But thats more than a few no?
Manchester United are slowly Slipping again... The Players just have Nothing to Bring... Owen? Yeah Sheer Brilliance that Transfer.. Berbatov? Well How do I sum it up... Why didnt you Just Buy a rock Dress it in a Man U shirt and Stick it in an Offside Position..
Your Best Player Done Off to Real..
And before this gets out of hand.. It's friiendly Banter Not Ima Stab you for dissing man Utd banter :P

Liverpool are not really main rivals anymore are they? Think we can consider them out of the title race

Seriously keep it up, you have me in stitches.
Ever notice United don't usually hit their stride until around Christmas?

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
The Max points in the Premier League would be 114.
Last year United won 90. Dropping 24 points in total.
Liverpool won 86. Dropping 28 points.
As of 11 games this season Liverpool have won 18 points out of a possible 33. Dropping 15 points. So they are not out of it but it's looking unlikely.
United have 25 points out of a possible 36. Dropping 11. So are very much still in it. Although Liverpool have already dropped more than half the points than they did last year and united are getting close after only 1/4 of the games played. So both need to have substantially better spells to come. Although the title will probably be won with fewer points this year as all the big teams are dropping points although not as drastically as it looked like they might 5/6 games ago.
My money is on what I predicted a few months ago:
1. Chelsea
2. Arsenal
3. Man United
4. Liverpool

You're hardly one to talk Russ, you post pretty much exactly the same stuff everytime United have a poor result.

It's easy, I can explain how this works again, for anyone that doesn't get it.

Did you watch the Chelsea game? They turned us over? No point even trying to argue if that's what you think/saw. Your pretty much the only person thinks they did.

Again? When did we slip last time?

Owen? Yeah Sheer Brilliance that Transfer

Classic, cost us nothing, is scoring, staying fit and you are still paying him wages.

That you lost to the only team to score in the match, how does that work if you fail to score more than the other team then the rules specify that you have lost the match, nothing to explain it is clear cut the other side won.

My rants are usually about donkey's inefficiencies and SAF's reluctance to find a decent replacement for Ronnie.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Don't see Spurs finishing 3rd. Also I don't see Arsenal dropping any further than 3rd. Liverpool are having a bad run but will recover.

We aren't discussing the Physics of 1 is bigger than 0 - but that if you loose, you can't have deserved to win, that's absurd.
