Desailly was very lucky not to be sent off. Just seen the replay of his elbowing.

meh, they got class strikers.. but not much for the rest of their team.
Chelsea were sublime first half, I felt for Ranieri before tonight, but he messed the team around too much.
Do you think he may of been pressurised by Ambrom' to alter their play?

the thing with them is they have patience, solidarity, within there team, they dont do flying tackles or lunges.........i saw them play against real madrid and they were a patient team, they let you come to them and there defense played high up the pitch and kept ronaldo from getting the ball!!

i dont know, ranieri has to rotate his squad so everyone gets a chance, but you have to play a team which you know is capable of winning and putting you best stars out, even if they are all multimillion pound signings you need to address the balance of who does what in certain areas of the pitch better........injuries can also be a contributing factor......

Re: Football talk
I wouldn't feel right abt it eitier, some more on the story here..

Quote:
Rix kept his job at Chelsea after being found guilty of having sex with an underage girl. The decision prompted calls for the FA to show that it was not condoning abuse, and it has subsequently decided to alter its rules so that any other coach in Rix's position would automatically receive an additional FA sanction - possibly a life ban.

Why not? What if she lied about her age? What if it was not his fault whatsoever?

Re: Football talk
well done norwich for gaining promotion.......
its hard to believe they have been gone 9 years , seems like only a few years ago they were a top flight team battling with united and villa for the championship......
