Good to hear things are getting a bit better dilli.
PC upgrade next step: Got the OS and apps onto the new 128GB SSD, few rough edges to tidy up but end of POST to desktop now only 5 seconds!

I guess so. All the cloning SW I used failed so I Went back to the old fashioned methods. Format, special copy, block copy and MBR crunching.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
The renal unit are 'incredibly impressed and surprised' my cretanine is now down to 324 and seems to be returning to my base level (240) which is still too high but not high enough to warrant dylysys so if it keeps dropping this way it should recover enough to take the 'hit' it will on Monday.
Feeling more positive today.
Just got prescribed protein drinks too because I need to build up my strength apparently lol.

@ dilli.
So it looks like the delay in having your operation is working in your favour. The stronger you are going in has to help your recovery afterwards. Silver linings time.

Yes even a cretanine level of 240 is way too high dilli as mine has been 197 at its highest and they were seriously worried about that number and it affect it would have on my kidneys and my ongoing serious heart condition so your level is huge to say the least.
Just keep your chin up dilli as we are all here supporting you and hoping you get better soon.

I peaked at 590. But that was when I was transferred here from Bedford.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
No wonder they transferred from Bedford with that level dilli as that type of number would severely affect anybody's kidney function.

PC upgrade completed: New 500G drive D installed and databases (Video, music, images and movies) copied off backup USB drive. A little tidying, a few desktop tweaks and it looks just like it did only much faster.

I take it you're not still on Windows 98 or XP? Maybe Windows 7 or newer then you can get a free upgrade to windows 10 when it arrives.

Call me old school but this is an XP SP2 machine. I just need it to keep going and usable until I can afford to replace it. Registry hack allows security upgrades 'til 2019 so no need to rush. Don't like the GUI on later versions of Windows (8-10) so I'll pass for now.
