Maybe, if so let the truth out.

I agree.
If your child had been abducted you would keep your remaining children around you at all times as that's all you have left - would you leave the country to visit the pope etc and leave your kids behind?
I suspect you'd be utterly paranoid about anything happening to your kids and refuse to leave them under any circumstances.

It doesn't, but if it's fair to post media speculation that she may have been charged this afternoon - as Slug did this lunchtime - then it is also fair to post reports that she hasn't been.
Incidentally, the fact that you haven't been charged with anything today doesn't rule out the possibility that you might be at some point soon.

And just to bring every up to date Gerry McCann is now being questioned.

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
While i too have thought that at times their behaviour is odd i am judging that on how i think i would be in their situation. What is harder to account for is the massively incorrect information they gave at the start of this this the whole "40 yards" when it was a lot further and the "we had a clear line of sight to the apartment" which as we now know was not possible. That was the start of all the speculation about them being involved and while i still am not convinced they did have any part in the girls disappearence i am agog at how they could have been so wrong about basic things.
As for the press whatever intentions the mccanns had when they initiated contact with the press i am always reminded of the story of the frog and the scorpion where the press is concerned and this is yet another example of that. I am a little puzzled that the vatican site has now removed all reference to the mccanns and would like to know why that has been done and on whose order such things will only fuel the speculation.
This could all be a simple case of the police questioning them to eliminate them from enquiries but as it is portugal maybe there were questions that could only be asked after having her made a suspect doesn't mean she is in any real way and until we get something more then uncle bob says this but sky says this we won't know.

I think we can speculate & play sherlock, until the cows home home.
But at the end of it. Maddie is still 'whereabouts unknown'.

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
Confused by the reaction of the McCann camp and their supporters.
They say the police are now going down the wrong line/direction in the enquiry and this is diverting resources from the real need to find Madeline.
However ‘surley’ if a car is found to have blood/DNA belonging to Madeleine 25 days after she went missing……….. isn't that a good direction to go in. What would have happened if the police released that information but then said we are not going to follow that line of enquiry.............everyone would be going mad saying the police were inefficient !

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
BBC news articles are saying the police "believe" the blood to be hers.

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
"Police are said to believe that Madeleine was killed accidentally and that her body was hidden, then moved and hidden again.
They are not treating Madeleine's disappearance as murder.
There have been reports that Mrs McCann, 39, is likely to be charged with causing the accidental death of her daughter.."
Just remember though 'police' in their country work to different levels of competence to the ones in our country. I wouldn't trust that shower of idiots.
