Sky will price themself out of the market, especially with all the cutbacks everyone is making to make money work out.

I believe that some boxes can detect the extra planned channels but you can't see them because they're not in the EPG yet. Also, I get the impression that some posters in this thread are guinea pigs as part of VM test groups for various services and have early access to what's coming soon ...

I was talking to a VM engineer, and he told me that VM are not planning on anymore HD channels entering the network, for several more months yet.

Virgin are focusing on HD this year.
They are testing Five HD as seen on a screenshot from DS somewhere earlier in this thread
