Should be at Center Parcs this week but could not go, so my sister and her husband are there instead. All is not as bad as it seems as they gave us the money for what should have been our break so I suppose I could be feeling alot worse although I do wish I was there.

nPower. Pay £80 a month and had a nice rebate to come back in December, called on 20th and told that there was a delay and would be in by 2nd of January. Called yesterday, and tried saying that we had not submitted a meter reading for latest bill. Soon disabused her of that notion as I logged into the online account and told her that it says CUSTOMER METER READING SUBMITTED on 24/11. Oh, we need a new reading now as that is over 30 days old. So give the new readings, rebate will be in within 5 working days.
They also put the DD down to £65 a month, we called and had it changed to £80 a month again. Get an email from them this morning saying your new DD details are now ready to view online. Look, and the greedy grabbing (insert your own cuss here) have jacked the payment up to £116 a month. Seriously tempted to tell them to sling their hook and find a new energy company to go with.

 So cross right now.

 | Npower are crooks.
I left them back in October and I had over £200 in credit. trying to get it back has been really hard. they never reply to emails. they give you rubbish about how they're having problems at the moment and stalling you for another 10 days.

I've eventually had it refunded. but they just didn't want to give it back.

morons, crooks, and liars.

I've been having crap with Scottish Power for five months now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better any time soon,
Yesterday they told me I already have pre-payment meters installed.

They wouldn't believe me when I told them I didn't, so they asked me to tell them the serial numbers of the meters here. When I told them I can't do that (and why) but I'd get Natalie to read them and phone them with the details they got the arse with me.

 Ongoing..

I've never heard of them (carpet grippers) being used for that before, my brother in law uses Prikka strips on his back fence.
Garden a bit of a mess after last nights gales.

 | I use them for that and in-between the plants. Effective and cheap.

Doiwnloading an HD film, 4 Gbytes OK, only 200Mbytes to go then it bails out even when retrying in the download manager. Guess I'll have to try tomorrow when the kiddies are lying in.
