 | Virgin media fleece you with the prices they charge, if they want to retain customers they need to keep the channel carriage deals they have and not replace them with crap

My only concern really is that we don’t have Apple+ and Discovery+ yer. I’m no longer worried about Sky Atlantic. They just don’t seem to be getting the shows these days, so I’m cancelling NOW (TV).

Look before you leap, Frazz.

I reckon this is the usual business posturing . No need to make any decisions yet on suppliers.

The TNT sports deal is the big one for next year.

 | To find out if they are cheaper people have to factor in what they're paying for the streaming services that are free on Sky & the cost of Now TV. In order to get Sky Atlantic (if you want these).

Sport as most of you know i get via other methods not illegal but grey area.

Perhaps they should get rid all of the Discovery non sport channels and just pay for Discovery+ app to be included , although I am not sure if WBD would agree to that.
Cartoon Network went HD only in January and into lower TV packages with the SD version removed so can't see that going.

I do watch a lot of Discovery and Eurosport/TNT sports so basically Freeview along with Prime and the diccovery+ app at £30 will be enough for me. It'll be less than I pay now but it depends on the Broadband.I'm on 500mbs but that could be really cut back as I don't download muchI'm on the monthly package now so I can leave anytime.
If Virgin do lose these channels then they have to actually drop prices.
I'll wait and see what happens. These new Fast channels have no appeal whatsover. It's junk tv.

If Eurosport, TNT, and Quest go, then I probably will ditch VM and go back to Sky. And if Food Network goes with them, my wife will be in total agreement with that decision.
Or is this WBD and VM playing some sort of brinkmanship game?

 | A lot more is coming, but for the moment, you get all the archived stuff and you sometimes get the box set whereas the TV channel gets you programmes a week at a time.

For me, a plus would be that it would be one step closer to getting Virgin Stream.

What’s going to end up on Virgin Stream that isn’t going to be on a V6?
