Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Yeah we'll see. Not too fussed if we lose out. No point getting a player on loan who could become great and then we have to let him go. Also I don't think he is needed really.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
ye reports saying no future fee has been agreed sucks but now they say theres a first option to buy. i hope the hold up has been continued talks. he would add something in my opinion, a lot infact. from what ive read and seen he would be a brilliant addition. the sort of quality that can see us fighting the title contenders instead of CL places.

The sooner its sorted the better as it seems the player has changed his mind about 5 times already.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Seems Arsenal pulled out, they would have paid about £8 million over the course of the year with the fee and wages and didn't have the option to buy.
Reports say Liverpool will pay £7 million over the course of the season. No right to buy.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
The structure of transfer fees is nearly always mind-bogglingly complex in this day and age. Depeding on how you manipulate the figures there's always scope for the media to quote whatever figure they want.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Sunderland paying £14 million for Stephen Fletcher and West Ham paying a "club record fee" of £10 million for Matt Jarvis
Suckers :p
I reckon it's probably more that too though, as the Wolves chief exec has hinted that the £24 million they've got for the pair will be spent on new players. I believe Burnley had a sell on clause of 15% for Fletcher.
I'd be worried if I supported Sunderland though. The past two teams Fletcher signed with have been in relegation fights in the premiership, with eventual relegation
