Rumour: TruTV to launch on Virgin Channel 245 on August 4th.

Technix is reporting over on DS Forum that:

"truTV will be available on VM channel 245 when it launches next month."

Apparently ITV Be is at the request of advertisers whilost ITV Encore is designed to tap another revenue stream - subscription TV. Short answer is that by launching these channels, ITV will make more money than by not launching them.

Full lineup still not confirmed but Conan O'Briens US talk show, Fear Factor and Killer Karaoke will be shown on it.
