Maybe at the start but they are always able to refer the matter to the Competition Commission?

Yes they are if you read the working papers and their initial findings on the pay tv movies, you may get a idea of them?

Yes Ofcom do seem to be very weak when it comes to certain companies abusing their position.

It would imagine it would be impractical for them all to have their own 3D channel at this early stage so ESPN showing a match dosen't seem all that odd to me.
It isn't as odd as Sky Sports News sometimes telling you when games are on ESPN but I tend to agree that Sky and ESPN appear to be on very good terms.

I believe they are genuine competitors but with ESPN being very much the junior (in the UK at least) but they do seem to get on well. At least for now!

Yes Disney is officialy a bigger corporation than News Corp , however I feel as the UK is not ESPN's main market they will be happy with 2 of the 6 prem league packages.
