Not sure about that, I'll leave it for others to decide - i'm sure it will be discussed in-depth.
From today though, I'm not happy with taking Torres and Benny off - what was he thinking?! I suppose only he knows.

Silence from the scousers this weekend on facebook....no doubt they'll find their voices if Blackburn beat United tonight.

Still too early. Liverpool would also need to decide who would replace him? At the moment there is no obvious answer and, having recently signed a new contract, getting rid of him would be far too expensive. He is a good manager and it would be nuts to fire him because of this. Did Arsenal fire Wenger after our poor start? The title is a lost cause for Liverpool now, it must be, but they still look good to maintain the top 4.
What is more important is that they get into the next round of the Champions League. Lyon away is a much more important game and if they lose that then I would say that Benitez might face calls for him to go. (Still wouldn't be right though)

The only vaguely logical replacement would be Mourinho - but the scousers can keep their hands off, he's ours for when SAF retires

LOL. If Liverpool do not get into the next stage of the Champions League Mourinho would have to come in and sell players, not buy. Don't think he would like that .

Well Blackburn will have to get out of their half first, we look a bit flat again though, short of a spark. If we could clone Valencia and stick him on the left...........

Get Nani off, get Owen on and let Rooney run the left wing, this is terrible.

Thank God for that, another mint finish from Berbatov.

Chipped it up, span 180, Scissor kick. Nani off, Obertan on. This lad could deffo end Nani at UTD. Looks to have way more about him. Strange looking though.

You're right, it would cost £18 million to buy him out of his contract I heard a few days back on LFCTV

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Liverpool have the Robson/Keane issue we had, when they didn't play, UTD didn't play. Gerrard is so important to Liverpool it is insane, never seen anything like it. They just don't have a Midfield when he is missing. And like I said before, Rafa spending is obscene for the ammount of decent players he has ended up with, aside from Torres I wouldn't have any of his signings at OT. Maybe Mascherano if we decided to play that way.
Sooner Benitez goes, sooner we can put in an offer they can't refuse for Torres.

I doubt they will sack him, possibly if they fail to qualify for the Champions league he will go. I could actually see him walking though, if Pellegrini get's the sack anytime soon (which is becoming more and more likely, escpecially after losing 4-0 to a 3rd division side) there's rumours they will be after Benitez, i think he will seriously consider it and blame the Americans as the reason he leaves rather than poor performances.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Really? Do you not think he is the only bloke that can cope with Man Utd? He has my vote. Image how hated will we be when he is on MOTD giving his "Breath Of Fresh Air" interviews everyone seemed to like. I think he is the only one that can replace Ferguson.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Is it me or is Sky's Sunday Supplement a rubbish program with rubbish commentators? Sorry to go off on a tangent but the quality of their so-called analysis is always awful, these tend to be high level tabloid people who spout one-off rubbish that is often incorrect. One of them suggested we should be nicer to Fergie because he made players like Owen :s.
