Just to be clear...
Swansea and Cwmbwrla are enabled. The other Swansea hubsites (Neath, Port Talbot, Gorseinon and Sketty) are not.

Re: 50Mb areas
Just upgraded my 20 too 50 installation is on Friday, even though i am on a package and get reduced rate its still only extra £15 on top so its costing me £37 a month for it i get 20meg for £22 a month as it is so pleased with that.
Installation prices i only have to pay a connection fee of £20 nothing else, i did ask him again and he said you only have to pay the £20 which will go on my bill at the end of the month, looking forward to Friday now just hope its not as bad as some have had with speeds.
I will add when you upgrade you are agreeing to another 12 month contract just in case some were wondering and do you have to use a certain version of windows when they install and test it as i know how funny they can be about different versions? i using Windows 7 RC1 atm.

The installer will set it up no problem, he set it up on Linux here, after swapping the modem over he will just go into the config via your browser and check the levels.

I think you're probably on Camberley. Use the Connection link at the top of this page to check.

I honestly don't, I just know it must be annoying with people asking constantly.
And thanks for the tp about the Connections link, I've been lurking at this place for years and never noticed it I am Camberley by the way.

Not really.
No-one here can answer your question though. Just keep checking this thread. When the release date for Camberley is announced, it'll be posted here.

Re: 50Mb areas
It seems I now live in a 50mbit area, can someone tell me what the prices are? The VM site is pretty much exclusively set up to entice new customers...
I currently have 10mbit BB, the freeview TV option with V+, and the cheapest phone package. I have no real interest in changing the phone or TV, but if for some bizarre reason it makes things cheaper, I will do.
And is it possible to get any deals from Virgin? I've had virtually no BB for 8 weeks now, and it seems they have finally fixed it. Maybe I can talk them into giving me a deal....
Thanks all.

Not sure dept i spoke to last week, indian call centre transfered me, but i got the 50mb BB, M tv and M phone for £46 a month before calls obviously which i believe is the price new customers would pay according to VM site. VM where also doing free install on 50mb BB until 31st may for new customers, managed to get that as well even though ive been a customer for ages, currently have 20mb BB M phone and free months trail of XL tv and paying £42.50 atm, so for extra £3.50 im getting M tv and and extra 30mb of BB

Re: 50Mb areas
Another question - if I was to sign up for 50mbit, would I be locked into another 12 month contract?
