There was a match report in the Mail. Though, it was only Liechtenstein.

Russ you are reading the wrong papers, there was a 3/4 page spread plus a picture of Koumas in the Telegraph, and it was only a friendly
jim.

Not sure I said it wasn't covered in the papers - I'm just moaning about how much coverage it had, seeing as all the nationals are just that - nationals.

yeps...lots of dutchies are saying SACK van Basten over the last couple of months. he has ruined the team a bit. ie Mark van Bommel and Ruudje plus some others.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
wouldn't say sack him as i don't thik constant changes are the answer.. having seen him over a few games it seems that not alot has changed really.. we still the same team as we were under Sven so maybe part of it is down to the players.. i've said before that i've seen Lamps and Gerrard go for balls that in a club shirt they would get 100% of the time but in an England shirt they don't always get
wish they would hve played Aj more through the middle of even played a few long balls for him to run onto and hold up a job he did very at Palace

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ea/6153658.stm
i'm sure if he had come to us we would have played him alot more esp and would have been better for his career
still his agent is got more money from the Chelsea move so i'm sure he's happy

When you look back on his career so far, he looks more trouble than he is worth, I think you guy's had a lucky escape with that one
