Re: What are you eating now?
Shortly, we’ll be wiring in to yet another pack of party food from the freezer that we didn’t use for Christmas or new year. Not for want of trying, we had plenty of people over on different days, but we over-catered somewhat …

Re: What are you eating now?
I ate out at a restaurant in Brighton, Kambies. I had a Sultani with chips and Arabic salad. A Sultani is a lamb fillet and kofta.

Re: What are you eating now?
Puttanesca, or 'Prossy Pasta' as we call it.
As it states... "Because puttana means roughly 'whore' or 'prostitute' and puttanesca is an adjective derived from that word, the dish may have been invented in one of many bordellos in the Naples working-class neighbourhood of Quartieri Spagnoli as a quick meal taken between servicing clients."
Whatever it's meaning, it's one of our staples. Cheap as hell too, just like it's namesake, lol.
Strange though, my wife hates anchovies, capers and olives.... Yet she loves this meal. Saying that, it just works all together.

Re: What are you eating now?
I've never had a poor skirt steak from Morrisons, but today's was exceptionally good. Served with wedges.

I've never had a poor skirt steak. A very underrated cut, but not easy to find.
That said, we just had fillet, as I picked up a whole one from Costco last night. Served with Caesar salad.
