Re: What are you eating now?
The cold weather put me in the mood for a Cornish pasty. I ate two for lunch.
More stodge soon: sausages, bacon, fried bread, canned tomatoes and maybe a couple of fried eggs.

Freshly cut ribeye from the butchers (seared, medium inside), birdseye steamfresh vegetable rice (microwave bags) and fried mushrooms (in butter and a little rapeseed oil).

Re: What are you eating now?
Bankers fish and chips in Brighton. I got a platter (calamari, scampi, prawns and cod) and cod with the skin and chips. The chips were tasty. The rest was what you'd expect of fish. It way a little greasy though. I think I'll suck on a chewing gaviscon tablet before bed.

Re: What are you eating now?
We have some very sweet sherry in our larder so used it last night to cook a pheasant with mash and multicolour carrots. The sauce was still far too sweet so needed a good squeeze of lemon juice to balance it out. Very nice, BTW my wife did the cooking as I am (trying to) revising for an Old Testament exam on Wednesday. Failed this twice before, hoping I have got enough done to pass this time.
