Wonder how bad the Norwich board feel today, got to wonder had they stuck with Hughton would they have stayed up?

All three clubs that went down got rid of their managers and nowt did it help them.

Sunderland changed their manager, and they were bottom
Didn't wigan change their manager too? And they are in play offs.
Keeping same manager is not necessarily the solution.
My rule, it is up to the owner, no one else.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Norwich should have accepted fate and prepared for the Championship but the minimum requirement was probably stay in the league and he failed so sacked he was. I do agree, it is up to the owner(s) to make choices but some are too rash but then we don't know whats going on behind closed down. May be he wasn't motivating the club as he once did.
Pepe Mel was a punt. Some work out, some don't.
Whats going to happen at Southampton? It seems real cringe that the owners are showing too much front, not on the sales but on the manager front, extending his contract.

I dunno about being overrated, he has a good scoring record the last few years. Strikers that go from Atletico to England seem to do quite well. He wouldn't look out of place wearing a cowboy hat and poncho in a spaghetti western. He'll wind people up, of that I have no doubt.

Hes had one good goal scoring year, before that he was average at best. Its a risk taking a player on one good season, but as you said, strikers from Atletico seem to do well in England.

Not really a surprise but I did hope he'd stay on in some capacity.

36 in 50 so far this season, 20 in 44 last season and 10 in 16 the year before, that's not to shabby, and he's only 25. Different league granted, and I ain't trying to big him up to be some sort of magical scoring machine mate, honest! He's done enough to make people notice. I think Liverpool wanted him last summer. Him and Suarez would have been interesting to say the least. To me he's a play-acting, nasty, grappling, sneaky and sometimes naughty front man. Ticks all the right boxes
