The Genesis Secret - Tom Knox
A tale of human sacrifice, archaeology and good old fashioned detectives and reporters.

Re: What are you reading?
Just finished Seven Ancient Wonders by Matthew Reilly - A very fast paced Indiana Jones type thriller.
About to start Third Secret by Steve Berry - A similar genre but with the main character solving more mental rather than physical puzzles.

You do know that it is only part one of a trilogy and each book carries straight on from the previous one.
I have read all 3 books link HERE.
