Oh, we've been there! Yes, it's very nice.
To be honest I'd probably remember more about it if we hadn't been staying at the Hilton over the road, where the exec lounge has self-pour alcohol all day. Drank an awful lot of "Plame" that holiday. In my defence it was a very wet week, so we didn't want to go out much.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Bone in shoulder of new season local lamb with a pesto coating, BBQ until pink, served with pomegranate, salad, flat breads.
Bone in half shoulder of local pork, spicy rub and BBQ sauce, coleslaw, rice, brioche bun, sweetcorn. This fed the three of us that eat meat, 2 Italian students staying with us and a family of 5 just moved here from Nigeria although their children are young so say 3 people.
Plenty left over.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Sunday night - roasted a chicken on the braai, cherry wood smoke, nice fresh bread, halloumi, mushroom for our veggie daughter, salad.
Last night - brisket slab with chilli rub and hot BBQ sauce (hickory and whiskey barrel smoke), sweet potatoes, corn on the cob in leaves cooked on embers. Could of cook beef a bit longer but my braai isn't very good are regulating temp and I'm on last bag of charcoal, delivery of new bags is delayed.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Went to Wetherby Food Festival on Sunday, and bought a couple of "speciality" pork pies - standard, with black pudding, and with Stilton.
Just finished off the Stilton one - yummy.
