My last visit this season to OT tonight, it will certainly be Vidic's last game at the ground and quite possibly one or two others as well.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Renewed it months ago, Vidic, Evra and Ferdinand ( if they go) will be missed, there are more than a couple I would also like to see the back of as well who will not be a great loss.
Nani, Young, Fletcher, Cleverley, for certain, Smalling, Buttner, Welbeck, Valencia, Hernandez would make reasonable back up players but not good enough for first team regulars.

Looking at it from a unbiased point of view l think MU need between 6 to 8 new players iadom in the summer and that is dependent as we all know on many factors as its not as easy as some think to get the players the club want.

I'd reduce the squad size even more.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are one of eight other clubs currently under investigation for breaking UEFA's financial rules. French newspaper L'Equipe has reported that PSG are facing even stiffer penalties from UEFA than City. Like City, they will be fined and see their Champions League squad reduced. But they will also have restrictions imposed on their wage bill and their transfers.

that will be interesting.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is among those to have previously called for harsh sanctions on clubs that break Financial Fair Play rules. He said last week: "There are rules to apply for Financial Fair Play. If you don't respect them, you have to apply the rules. One of the rules is that normally you should be banned for the excess of the financial amount that is not justified, that is if you are £100m overboard, you should be punished for £100m of your wages bill in the Champions League. I want to see that respected, if that is not respected, then the financial fair play will have problems to be respected in the future because everyone will just not consider it at all. If it is not respected, of course we will feel let down."

He had release clause with his contract before of around £40 million and given that he has since signed a new contract a release clause is likely to have doubled one suspects.

Decent move why not. There will probably be claims and doubts that players will take advantage of this but if she can be firm and aggressive as a coach this could be the start of proper equality in managerial vacancies having only just got certain rules in place for non-white managers.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Man City's £50m fine - surely Sheik whatsisname will just write a cheque? The teams most likely to be affected by the FFP rules are those with deep pockets. I thought sanctions were supposed to include points deductions etc? Restricting the squad size is a good start seeing as CL teams need to have at least 8 locally-trained players but point deductions would surely be a bigger deterrent?

As with the case of the female referee's assistant who Andy Grey and Richard Keyes slagged off, I couldn't care which gender anyone is as long as they do a good job and being female has zero bearing on it IMO. Football still has a male-dominated attitude to women in the game are likely to get some resistance/abuse so as long as that gets dealt with I say bring them on
