I know someone who said he was going to buy a chipped box a month ago. I told him he might get a month or 2 out of it at the most. Like an idiot - he still went and spent £100 on it with promises that 'it will never go off' Have we any <snigger> smileys?
Anyway - It's a good job there are pictures of the boxes on the letter as the 2nd Sammy box hasn't even got a serial number that even vaguely matches the one on the letter :-/

When you pull the card out the number displayed on the screen should match the one on the letter. Did it not?

Well if they have the connection it is easier to get them on board as a paying customer with a direct debit and a legit box.

The world cup is on terrestrial TV, all they would have to do is plug in an aerial or even plug in the VM box that I bet the majority of illegal box users have to receive the basic VM package.
