Re: What are you eating now thread?
Did a really nice goat curry last night. Used a halal butcher who cut up a whole shoulder, trimmed off meat then putting the bone through band saw. Meat, cloves, allspice, salt, pepper, lime juice in casserole pot for 30 mins. Fry onions (used Bombay onions) and sliced garlic until browned off add to casserole and then brown meat. Add Tobago curry powder and chopped chillies, brown further, add can of tomatoes and 500ml water and cook in oven for 2 hours stirring halfway and spoon off excess fat. Allow to sit for 10 mins before serving.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
It was, interesting spice taste, very different to curries from India and region. Should use habenaros but I only had finger chillies so the batch I want to make for family gathering could get a bit hotter.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
A cracking thick-cut ribeye steak, with chips and mushrooms - SWMBO had a fillet steak.
Being washed down by very smooth Zinfandel.
