I'm inclined to agree with you. I know there may be a few enthusiasts who would be grateful to hear that you've got news but can't reveal it, but I'm sure most people would only prefer the actual news to be posted when you are allowed to.

But this forum is set up to share information. If we have it we should share. That's what we all come here to talk about.

l agree with so many of your comments UC but if MB says there is a DNP order then he cannot post it until given the say so but theres nothing wrong with us speculating on the matter.

I agree we don't gain anything.

I don't want to put MB down because I know of the hard work he puts in and the info he gives out is normally spot on.

I just think to stop people getting on his back and possibly getting annoyed, the DNP Orders shouldnt be mentioned.

Because MB being a nice guy likes to keep members updated and l see nothing wrong with that.

They may think MB is trying to be popular, trying to stick two fingers up by saying he knows something they don't.

That's not how I feel, but I can see how it can be interpretted like that.

I think MB and the others on here like yourself, who provide the info for us, do an amazing job. This forum used to be full of people, just dont want to see it slide downhill because there is info out there that cannot be posted.

l think it reminds me a bit of when a government introduces a new policy and as like all new policies it never seems to please everybody and there's nowt MB can do about that.

Without making it binding on MB, could we do a poll on the subject? If most people did want DNA notifications posted, this would give ammunition to MB who could cite the poll in response to any criticisms.

Nothing is set to happen in May.

Next confirmed channel launch will be STV Glasgow on June 2nd.
