This is the quote of the day for this thread for me - if it's top secret info I don't think you'll be getting it via PM or anything else Rik , and as you've said it gives you more time to buy more storage before you fill it with Blu Rays.

I suspect they've seen your posts on here and thought 'Sheesh we aren't going to upgrade him for a while he'll be taxing half of IMDB'.
In any case for your birthday ask for some real genuine Blu Rays or similar if you can still remember how to open a retail movie's case of course!

Re: 50Mb areas
Well, engineers left 4 hours ago. 50Mb is up and running in CF10.
They sent 2 bods as, according to them, it was the first install in Wales. Nice
I'm inclined to believe them as they had their training manual all over my floor. Once I saw them run a speed test with my laptop directly connected to the modem I said I could take it from there - they seemed quite relieved. Once I explained my employment to them they high-tailed it. The installation took around 45 mins.
Reconfiguring my new router with address reservation and an access list for my 16 devices took *somewhat* longer.
I'd like to take the opportunity to thank all posters here for putting up with my randomness and also for helping me when requested - specifically broadbandings, spiderplant, moldova & chickendippers. Thanks guys. Appreciated. /grouphug.
Usually, when posters have got what they wanted they disappear but as, for some reason, I like it here, I'll be hanging around to help whenever I can
Cheers all.

Pulling the HL2Demo from the Virgin's own servers gives me around 6MB/sec. Lovely.
Numion.com shows me as :
Download speed: 48,563,441 (6,070,430) 100%
Upload speed: 1,648,130 (206,016) 100%
Surfspeed United Kingdom 675,320 (84,415) 86%
Surfspeed Average: 371,038 (46,380) 100%
Surfspeed Worldwide: 345,051 (43,131) 100%
Latency: 38 milliseconds
Latency in WoW was single figures; something I'd never seen before - ever.
Consider me pleased
