They suggested this, so accepted this, til my new STB is installed
BTW, I'm in Gosport Hampshire (PO12). Bromley Platform.
On user info screen, QOS now says stb-light.cm (meaning 1mb service)
What are the new names for the QOS cm file now ?

When was it they said they'd come with your new STB? Myself and alot of other customers got told 4th/5th April.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
On an STB here in Gatley, Manchester. Just phoned and was first told I couldn't as they would have to upgrade the stb to a Samsung. Explained I already had the Samsung, she went away for a few seconds to speak to somebody then came back and said they couldn't force it thorough and I would have to wait. Oh well, it's not as if 1.5Mbps is slow....

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
btw, the 0800 068 1400 number is telling me it has been discontinued and to call 0800 052 2000 instead! At least they have updated the web site http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/e...cablemodem.php to reflect the 2Mb and 3Mb speeds now.

Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Thanks Iain and phil for the response to my question, so 2mb is not a problem.
Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢ve only been on 2 hours and my local area connection show that Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢ve received 61.661.490 bytes, so that around 60mb god I only viewed a few pages and played 1942 online for an hour.
I got some net-meter I better switch it on next time Iâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢m on too see what I useââ‚Âà ‚¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¦.
Glasgow south upgraded no problems and I think I did it at three before I went out.

Same here. I phoned TS and was told that it may be advisable to wait a few days as some people they've tried to upgrade have subsequently lost their connection. WTF?
