As I've already mentioned I'm not a Red Bull fan but even though it's early days for Yuki as he's only had 2 races in that hard to drive Red Bull(Max said that) in the last race he scored Red Bulls first point for it's second driver since Las Vegas 2024 and he finished only 11 seconds behind Max who finished 6th, so I'm scratching my head how you can say he's coming up short(unless you're talking about his height lol) after only 2 races. He may very well be rubbish by the end of the season but all the Red Bull drivers have been rubbish since early 2024 compared to Max.

It's me being very critical of him. I don't think he's good enough to partner Max. I'm not talking championships.

That overtake by Max at the start was levels above those chasing his crown. Oscars a baby.

It was a good overtake and so close to making contact.
Oscar hasn't yet thrown his toys out the pram, had childish meltdowns and crashed into others on really bad overtakes like Max has so I think Oscar has a great future ahead but obviously he may change when he gets older.

When's the last time you saw a good winner, or loser for that matter? To be the best you have to beat the best leaving no blood to spare.
Every overtake can end in contact. I don't understand your reasoning.

There is no reasoning, all I said was the overtake was close to contact so I don't understand why you brought reasoning into it. Lol
As for Max I get it, he's your main F1 guy and that's OK and he is good at racing but like I've said before he has a terrible reputation and often dangerous( from Google) from his antics in previous years, not 2025(yet)but saying 'leave no blood to spare' is in bad taste considering what can happen in this sport.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I was thinking of your stance on Max which is why I mentioned your reasoning. I feel as though you were persuaded into the contact comment considering you highlight his flaws some of which were racing incidents. Hamilton at the British GP sending Max straight into the wall was hardly Lewis with his halo on.
I disagree totally in blood being left out there. This sport is handled as an honour to be apart of and to die in it I think many would settle for. It's a dangerous sport dude. There is no sugar coating it.
I don't understand the bad reputation Max has with some. Assassination of his character would be no point in different people in this world. That's pretty boring place to be to be honest.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I see Max is back to his old ways according to what I saw and according to lots of press reports, after being ordered to give Russell back the place by his race engineer he then threw his toys out of his pram based on his frustrating radio messages. So he then eventually gave the place back but in doing so seemed to have purposely barged into Russell resulting in him getting a 10 second penalty.
Quote of the year from Oscar in the cool down room.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Max has rightfully been given 3 penalty points for his actions taking him to 11 points in a 12 month period, he's very close to a race ban.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
The comments on Reddit say he has 2 races to stay clean otherwise it's a race weekend ban. I assume the 12 month period is the end of June?

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
On June 30th 2 of his current 11 points will expire as they are 12 months old, so I guess after that date he will be 3 points away from a future ban, atleast until more points expire.
Only one F1 driver has had a race ban since the ban system was implemented.
