Re: TV Anywhere App

When it's mrs, or even TiVo, Virgin get it out early and update along the way. When it's the ios, and now the android, buddy apps they tell us they want to make sure its the finished article. This whole episode has been my biggest disappointment with Virgin, especially as I have a TiVo and an android phone on their network.

Re: TV Anywhere App

New version of the iOS app will be available today. Main improvements are around setup and home / away detection

I don't know why anyone bothers with android devices. The OS is so fragmented over so many differently spec'd devices it will never be as good as iOS.

I had just updated my iPhone Tivo/TV anywhere app this morning and its got even better I use it a lot an now has more channels.

That's your opinion, works fine across multiple devices and superior to iOS in my opinion

And as for people not bothering, it's more popular than iOS across the market.

What might suit you does not suit the majority of us who have Android devices.

well sure, but do you ever actually take use of those capabilities? really, you're just tied into google's ecosystem and google play, the same way you are tied into apple's app store. Not to mention some manufacturers put their own interface over the top adding more junk on
