the reason some mails get through and others don't is beacuse when someone sends a message it will routed through one of many servers. it only takes one or two of these servers to be blacklisted to cause this type of problem. If they were all blacklisted then no mails would get through.
can you post the exact returned mail message minus the email addy's?

Cheers - that's what NTL Tech Support said today. The problem is that I'm not getting messages returned (and as far as I'm aware neither are the people whose messages are failing to reach me). So nobody knows what's getting through and what's not.
