an open letter was posted at an avril website, which stated that one band member has left the group sighting personal reasons and career changes, it was later admitted that he indeed was dating avril and they had split up
Quote:
As you may or may not have heard already, I am no longer a part of Avril's
band. Rather than give a long explanation as to why I'll just say that there
are many reasons, personal and professional. I just want to thank each and
every one of you for your support and kind words over the past 2 years. The
last 2 years wouldn't have been half as fun if it wasn't for any of you. I
had an amazing time and have met some awesome people along the way. These
days I'm writing tons of songs and will be working on all kinds of projects
over the next couple of months. I hope you will continue your support. Music
is a wonderful thing and its something I could never give up on. I'm gunna
miss seeing your ugly mugs on the dance floor. Cheers.
