Congratulation to Carl Froch as he is one fighter we can be proud of because in the last few years we have been served up a few duds l am afraid.

Re: Boxing 2013
It's on
Mayweather vs Alvarez (September)
Matthysse vs Garcia (September)
Alvarez and Garcia won't know what's hit them.

unlikely regardless of how they put it.
Why would Fury risk fighting Haye when he can continue knocking out bums for money and get an easy title shot.

Re: Boxing 2013
Still persisting Haye and Fury is on for the 28th September and is from Fury's mouth with claims he'll put Haye down with ease.
Good luck with that mate Fury lets his guard down and is extremely sloppy at times and non surprisingly given the list of bums he's fought. If he drops that guard for a split second he'll get tagged and he'll be lucky to get up at 8.

Re: Boxing 2013
Must admit if Haye Vs. Fury does happen, I don't fancy Fury's chances. I'd be as bold to say Haye to finish the fight within 3 rounds.

Re: Boxing 2013
I could be wrong but I've said earlier Fury would be mad to even think about this fight. I think Fury is selling a fight that isn't even happening. It's criminal at this stage. Kudos if it does happen but Fury is effectively a free ticket to a Klitschko for Haye. To even it up they should let price in the ring to help Fury. 2 chins one hayemaker. Fury's logic is scary, he's basing himself being ready based on being put down by Cunningham and then knocking him out.. the fact someone like Cunningham alone put him down should be logic enough to stay away from the hardest hitter in the division. Fury won't catch Haye clean and If Haye went for a power punch right off the bell I'd call it as quick as 20 seconds into round 1

Re: Boxing 2013
Haye signed the contract last night, funnily enough Fury has yet to sign. After all the mouth over the past month... hilarious.

Re: Boxing 2013
An all British fight always screams money.
Excited in a way but at the same time we're likely going to be witnessing the end of British HW boxing for a while. Haye will kill off Fury. Price is just as crap and buried. Haye will take a pop and Klitschko and then he'll be off too.
Chisora has a better chin and is more exciting than Fury at times. Infact people claim Chisora has one of the best chins in the business.. so watch that fight Fury and watch how Haye obliterated it in 5 rounds.

Price, Fury, Harrison, Hatton etc. Hatton is controversial indeed and I was a fan but I have to look back and recognise he strolled to a world title and got destroyed by anyone on the same or better level than him. Khan would destroy him and probably could have before he became a world champ.
I feel like Joe Calzaghe is the most recent world champion worthy of his rep.
