No player is - or will ever be - worth anything close £100m but you won't hear me complaining right now about United signing Pogba if the overnight rumours are true...

Juventus ready to pay £35 million for Moussa Sissoko. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Anyway it certainly looks like United will get Pogba. Given how so many big names have been linked to the club post-SAF but nothing ever becoming of them it's been hard to take United seriously in the transfer market so I've not been convinced it will happen especially as his name keeps coming up during every window but if Mourinho does pull this off it'll be the best indication yet that we're returning to to our Big Club mentality.

Re: Football Season 2016/2017
From Moyes to Brucey.
Steve Bruce has just quit Hull over frustration and naturally theres speculation he's about to be named Sunderland boss. They can't be serious. I thought Moyes was a done deal. Bookies are still open on it.

Re: Football Season 2016/2017
Looking forward to the season. Hopefully Stevenage can get a strong start then if we have a blip on the run in at the end of the season we won't have to worry about being dragged into a relegation fight.
That's all I want really from the season, to be nowhere below 13th by the time Christmas comes.

Yep only two weeks away now Mark and hopefully the best team in Hampshire and the best team in the South West can both go up this season..

Re: Football Season 2016/2017
Went slightly unnoticed but Georginio Wijnaldum signed for Liverpool yesterday for £25million. Delightful
Moussa Sissoko won't be going anywhere for less than £35 million. He's expected to join Juventus though after the Pogba move.
No fan is going to groan at getting £60million
Newcastle looking at Loan deals for Lucas and Flanagan of Liverpool.
Lastly for us, Newcastle expected to continue spending spree as they essentially build a squad to return to the Premier League. Massive year for Ayoze Perez as it seems talks of him leaving for £30 million are off the table. Mitrovic has a chance to shine.

Nice to see some football team sponsors helping out supporters when they go to away matches.
