Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Am really not looking forward to tomorrow night. Should a miracle happen, forgive me for having a few hours gloating about Wigan. Expecting Arsenal to put the final nail in the coffin though. Wigan will be back, as long as they can keep Martinez which seems like they will have a fight on their hands to do.

I don't know. Championship seems a scary place to go to.

Zaha has played well tonight, got both goals for Palace. Will be interesting to see how he does next season.

I seem to remember a few Arsenal players saying the same thing the second time they won it, funnily enough I don't remember hearing the same thing from Chelski but if you have won it 13 times I suppose it can feel as though you 'own' it.
How many times did Brazil win the World Cup before they gave it to them?
Speaking of your club, what are your thoughts on the current Cortese situation?

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Hmmm,
not sure about this bit, do you think they would have gone down with Nigel Adkins?
Cortese feels he has proved he has handled the club well and his decision, controversial at the time, to replace Nigel Adkins with Argentinian manager Mauricio Pochettino four months ago has paid off with the Saints having all but secured Premier League status for next season.

Ridiculous.

Football doesn't work like that. It's not a traditional business. It's not as if Manchester City were mid-table or drastically failed.

It is a bit harsh, I do agree. CL group of D'eath. PL - RVP at Utd. League Cup knocked out by Villa. FA Cup, well it meant little. City had Pellegrini down as the next manager prior to the final so the result meant little to Mancinis future at City.

and just to add, put Mancini at Arsenal for the past 7 years and ask yourself if Arsenal would get CL year in year out throughout a slow decline. I have my issues with Wenger but Mancini had the resources. Sorry but I couldn't careless. Inefficiencies.

Mancini needs to punch Nasri on his way out btw

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
If members are thinking that Arsenal are going to walk over Wigan, think again. Wigan need to win to stay up, Arsenal need to win to get CL football.
My prediction Arsenal 2 Wigan 4.

I have wanted mancini away since before end of last season. I just don't like his tactics, he makes strange decisions.
