Re: What have you just bought?
Six bottles of Taittinger Brut NV - £10 off per bottle, and an additional 25% reduction for buying six.
That's the drinks for Christmas Day brunch sorted....

l think that's a excellent idea nash as we find buying people presents is not a good idea sometimes as they often they do not like the presents even though they do not say it and at least if they have a voucher or money they can get what they want with it.

Re: What have you just bought?
Upgraded my phone from a HTC Sensation to the Samsung S3. I'm amazed how much these things have progressed in such a short time. Loving the phone and what it can do. The S4 was way out of my price range.

Oh very nice. What did you have beforehand? I went from a 32" to a 42" and feels like a cinema screen in comparison.
Just checked out the TV and looks a blinder.

We have a, 'Makro Manager's Special', dirt cheap Phillips 37" It has been a good basic TV, but the inner laminate on the screen has started to peel back and give us a wavy dark shadow down one side.
The thing that has surprised us is that the new 40" TV is smaller overall than the 37" which had a 6cm wide frame. We thought that TV was light weight but this new one, with it's 1cm wide frame, only weighs 9kg
Can't wait to get the new set up delivered on Tuesday so that I can have a play sorting out the WiFi and tweaking all the settings.
