Re: Big Brother returns on Channel 5

The thing is, Channel 4 did that and dropped it. They wouldn't have dropped it if it was profitable. Channel 5 presumably looked at it and decided it wasn't profitable..

Endemol will only provide the service that the channel can and will pay for.

It still would make you think that if they are in trouble then give a live feed and earn more money. Loads of people last year paid for it and if any of the other forums are anything to go by they would pay as well.

Not if it costs more to provide than it makes. I say again, Channel 4 provided the streaming. Channel 4 stopped it. They would not have done that if it was profitable.

Channel 5 obviously have done research to find out that it is not profitable hence the lack of it. Your research that probably consists of Big Brother threads and forums does not go anywhere near to covering the 2m people that (now) watch it.

I didn't say BB wasn't profitable. Channel 5 clearly think it is. I said the live streaming wasn't profitable. Channel 5 clearly agree as they aren't providing the service.

Re: Big Brother returns on Channel 5

If they want to get the rattings up the best thing is to let us have live feed. Millions of people watch the live feed and that be the best way to get rattings up. I allways thought live feed is big brother.

Or one of the diva's wouldn't go into the house if they were watched 24/7.
