Good win for Rubens, and I think Eddie was right about that terrible pitstop for Lewis

Raikkonen seriously need an emotion injection, never liked him for this exact reason, he's like a robot, I reckon the car probably gets more excited than him.

Good win from Rubens today, the way he turned the screw on the McLarens around the 1st pitstop was sublime. The 2nd stop was also some very good laps from him, aided by the McLaren team screwup.

I'd say they would still have lost the place is the pitstop had been smooth, but not by anything like as much - would then have been a duel to the finish.

don't think that is correct. Lewis was lost 6 seconds in the pit stop and was only 4 behind when he came out so he would have still been in the lead.
Martin Whitmarsh was just playing the team game and not blaming them.
The rumours about Alonso to Ferrari have been around since last year when the deal was meant to have been done. Kimi may go off to rallying instead

Also to take into consideration is how much a mistake like this effected Lewis's driving...
I think that without the mistake then we simply can't say who would have won...

Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
I have to say what a boring race much like last year, watching cars race on different parts of the track isn't my idea of F1 and we have another 5 years of this track !

I like the track as it's very technical, difficult to get right, but it's crap for spectators. Unless you're Spanish and Alonso's racing!

Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
What the hell!!!!
Listening to F1 saturday practice (which is on in the other room and hasn't started yet)
Shumie to possibly return to Ferrari next year as they want to run a third car??? Oh yeah as if Williams is gonna agree to that
Just out of interest what's the situation with constructors points if a team runs a third car?

Interesting comment by the commentators, the built in camera on top on the cars is a HD camera..

Re: Formula 1 2009 Season [may contain real time spoilers]
not all cars are running HD cameras. There was one running each race now that has increased to 4. One of the Toyotas and Kimi have it, not sure on the full list for this race.
The three car thing is Luca being stupid, he just thinks the fans want a grid of 10 Ferraris and 10 McLarens with nothing else. it won't happen as we have a full grid next year

MASSIVE PILE-UP! And the safety car is out. Kimi Raikkonen off at Les Combes and he takes out Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Romain Grosjean...

A phrase rhyming with Clucking Bell springs to mind.

In the end GRO, ALG, BUT and HAM are out with that incident, but it might also have mechanical afetr effects for KUB, RIA and a few others
