Over cooking that lovely meat, if the steak doesn't bray when you stick the fork in it's overdone. (I've had someone move away from me at a meal because they couldn't watch me eat blue steak.) But rump is a good steak, feather is nice too.

Pot roast (cooktop, 4 hours) brisket, creamed horseradish sauce, giant yorkies. Roasted taters and parsnips. Steamed sprouts and carrots. Gravy.

African beef stew and rice - really nice, a bit spicy. We modified the recipe reducing salt and tomato puree. We will use the rest later with fufu.
