OK, so just called CS to change our V Box to a VHD Box.

I explained that were are effectively on Triple XL (we have XXL broadband) with a V+ Box and a standard V Box and understood that we can now upgrade our V Box to a VHD Box for free, but pay Â£20 for self installation.

The lady said she wasn't aware of such a deal and that certainly wasn't coming up on her system. And that was that lol!

You don't qualify if you are on Triple XL. It's XL Plus and VIP customers who can do it.

Actually we may well be on XL Plus...is that just everything in the VIP packages minus Sky Sports/Movies?

Yup that does look like the XL Plus. As I said earlier though, there is some confusion over the V HD offer, which is still being sorted.

Confused re the cost of up-grade.

What would it cost to change from VIP20 to VIP50 also changing my standard Box to a VHD Box. I currently pay Â£94.50.

The cost per month is Â£96.50 and in regards to the box and also the charges it is who you speak to. I called retentions and one peson said that i would have to pay Â£49 for the box, so i called back about 10 mins later and spoke to someone else and have not got to pay anything.

So as i say it who you speak to

Figures based on VM Website

VIP20 - Â£91.50 or Â£98.50 with Sky Prem HD Channels.
VIP50 - Â£97.50 or Â£104.50 with Sky Prem HD Channels.

Yet on this forum is stated VIP50 is Â£96.50 which includes Sky Prem HD Channels for one box.

When selecting VIP50 it does not state includes Sky Prem HD and you have to add thr package.

Are you able to clarify

Hi yes I saw that when it was published but if this is true as it states for new and existing VIP customers.

If your a new customer and join online your not getting this deal you have to sign up for VIP50 and selet the HD pack.

It confussing when we are posting but VM Online Shop states different and its not like its old prices and the online shop has been revamped.

Yes i know BIGRED the website says for new customers Â£97.50 but that may change from the 1st oct

No problem at all - all the help the better, it just does not make sence when they say and action VIP50 for Â£97.50 which I also had the letter which drops it down to Â£96.50 from 1st Oct.

I just dont get that they state Sky Prem HD channels included when signed to VIP50 and website states something different.

Should I be surpriced - I just thought they would get it right after revamp

I know what you mean as BENMCR has stated that they are working on getting the staff up to speed on it and if someone quotes the website they state the complete opposite, so no wonder that everybody is

Lets hope that they get it sorted soon as with all the mis-information going about it will start to look like a scene from SCANNERS where people heads are exploding.
